Founded in 2013, HBA is an India-based design firm, with an intention to inculcate sustainable solutions in architectural designs to enhance the quality of life, wherever we work. HBA has grown into a multidisciplinary organization with her expertise in providing architectural design service from concept design to construction drawings; from conceiving small accommodation facilities to transcending the codes of urban design in creating opportunity for urban regenerations.

Hailing from the city of joy, Bushra completed her graduation from Manipal Insitute of Technology with
a degree in Bachelor of Architecture in 2011. Since graduation, she has worked with the Ambuja Neotia
group, Kolkata on various projects ranging from planning of office spaces, hotels, retail areas, resorts to
educational campus buildings. Driven by her thirst of knowledge, she joined Open to Sky Architects (former
SALT) where she gained vast expertise in multiple scale projects, whether it being a small scale project
or an urban design interpretation. Furthermore, during her tenure with DAR Al-Handasah, she had the
opportunity to work on magnificent projects like airports, arenas, business districts. Her dedication and
perseverance combined with her architectural capabilities has been one of the major driving forces of
Half Brick Architects.
